Yeah, that would have been a lot better than what we got. I like the Gambit twist myself.

I’m still holding out for X-MEN 4 when we find out that the entire third movie was an illusion created my Mastermind to force the X-MEN to stop looking for Jean once and for all, when in actualilty, she’s a prisoner of the Hellfire Club, acting as their Black Queen…

Anything to efface X-MEN: LAST STAND from my memory…

the only part i don’t like is putting gambit in there. otherwise it would have made for a much better movie than the original.

Not bad at all, but based on the movie that exists, 2 hours of a static shot of a fanboy reading back issues in an easy chair would have been better!

As do I, especially where you leave a clear run for a sequel as opposed to the other one where the X-Men just get on with their lives.
