Who Is This Guy, Anyway?!

All of a sudden, this site is flooded with a backlog of “No Cure For Comics” posts, and I’m clogging your RSS feed with updates every day. So this post is strictly for the PCS readers who may be wondering who the hell I am.
You may know me as the co-creator of Division 18: The Union of Novelty Costumed Performers; moderator of the Comic Blog Elite toplist; or geek-parenting columnist over at ForcesofGeek.com. You may even remember me from the “Buzzscope” days here at PCS, where I ran the “Battleground Showcase” and wrote the occasional review. Then again, you might not know me at all, so in short: I’ve been reading, writing, and drawing comics for as long as I can remember, even edited a few–not for a living, just because they’ve been my life. And then I was yanked out of my escapist Neverland by the news that I have cancer. But that wasn’t enough to cancel out my lifelong interests, which now more than ever offer a great escape from some serious “real life” worries.
After all, there’s no cure for comics! (Get it?)
Also, I’m a lousy speller and the WordPress spellchecker is unreliable at best. Bear with.
You may now return to your regularly scheduled nerdery.
