“…nowadays you want to be careful because you don’t want to sound like you’re pimping the comic book industry, but a lot of the projects that I come up with on my own that I do under my Darkstorm imprint or my Astounding imprint, which is all ages, have multi-level platforms in mind. I think a lot of these properties can make good movies, TV shows, or videogames and action figures, so that’s how I look at things now. After ‘Underworld,’ that taught me a really interesting lesson and that is, you really have to look at things in terms of their global appeal and how many different arenas can you exist in, ’cause I think that’s important.”
