I was staying in the Quarter at some weird Hotel Solamar or something like that back in May. The thing about it is that the Quarter is artificial. The fixtures, buildings, etc weren't there all those years ago. It's some fairly recent thing they've been doing over there by intentionally trying to 'create' a historic area of town.
