While not much more than a promise and a picture, Rockstar announced Max Payne 3 for winter 2009. No word on console or even what type of game we can expect. The picture looks very ‘Metal Gear’, and Max certainly looks older and more grizzled.

Is Rockstar still developing the previously announced sequel to Red Dead Revolver? Is L.A. Noir still on the horizon? GDC is making E3 look VERY tasty indeed.
