Sorry guys, I’ve been bogged down in distractions these past few days so I’ve been slow on the updates. That said, if you haven’t already seen the link, apparently, there was a Flash videogame that was far enough in development for something to show. It didn’t look half bad. The developers tried to get as creative as possible with the use of his powers. My gut tells me the there wasn’t as much of a game in there as the video indicates, but I could be wrong. Maybe another developer picks this up. I saw some Xbox 360 buttons….hmmmmm…
Anyway, more after the jump.

Heidi Klum doing a Risky Business homage in a Guitar Hero ad?* Heck yeah. Her and Tim Gunn in a Project Runway Wii-videogame? As Mr. Gunn would say, “This worries me”.

I readily admit I love Project Runway, but I draw the line at a “Wii Balance Board-compatible catwalk” mini-game. Actually I draw it well before that, but for those of you with more fabulous gaming taste than I, read on.

PCS IS DEAD

By Tally Chan on October 8, 2009 at 3:55 am

For my first post on the all new PCS, I’m putting up my PAX09 photos — a month after the fact. PCS style baby!

Chalk this up to, “It’s about time”. Konami has realized what I hope Sega picks up on (and maybe Capcom will speed up, too). Releasing 2.5D ‘re-imaginings’ of your old classics on Xbox Live and PSN is like money in the bank. Starting with Capcom’s Bionic Commando Rearmed, continuing in spirit with Epic’s incredible Shadow Complex, Konami’s bringing back form mascot Rocket Knight in a 2.5D platforming update that fans will welcome with open arms.
Thanks to 1up.com, we’ve got pictures. Go to 1up to see the whole set, but here’s a peek.

Capcom, when are you going to port that PSP Ghouls-n-Ghosts remake to Xbox Live and PSN??

November 11 can’t get here fast enough. If you’re a Call of Duty fiend, (and who isn’t?) this new Infamy trailer isn’t making life any easier. Enjoy after the jump.

I’m not much of a gamer, but there are a few franchises that I try to make time for. I’m a sucker for the Create-A-Wrestler mode in the various WWE Smackdown vs Raw games; once I figured out how to work the guitar controller, I became a groupie for Guitar Hero; Star Wars: The Force Unleashed was such a satisfyingly simple ride that I’m looking forward to a sequel or maybe even an adaptation into the movie or animated Lucasverse; and since the first multi-character smash-and-flash X-Men game introduced the basic gameplay, I’ve been a true believer in Marvel Ultimate Alliance. As a family man, it isn’t easy for me to find the time or the space to play games at home, so I knew if I was going to enjoy the latest MUA game–Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2: Fusion (aka, Civil War: The Home Game), I had to get the PSP version.

Sorry for the lazy post, fam, but I was just about to get some sleep when this story came across my lap. There’s a video after the jump, but the body of the post is a total cut an paste job from a Japanese gaming news website:

As if the casting news for this movie wasn’t bad enough, this trailer cements it as the very definition of EPIC FAIL. Look, there’s no light at the end of the tunnel here. No positive spin to make gamers feel better. At least Ray Park had something to do between gigs. Is that enough positive spin? No?

Well, the guy in the picture? That’s Ray Park. He’s supposed to be Rugal, the 7 foot tall last boss of King of Fighters…

…With regret, the video comes after the jump.

This little gem comes from Reuters.com. If you haven’t tried the new Uncharted 2 Multiplayer demo, do so. It’s much more polished than the beta, include four levels, more characters, and is addictive as all hell. We’ve got a game play sample of the new ICE CAVE level for you to watch, but that’s not the biggest news. Apparently, if you live in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, or Washington State, you might get the chance to play Uncharted 2 on the big screen. And by big screen, we mean exclusive theaters equipped with Sony’s 4k Digital Projection technology. Curious? Of course you are. More, including the gameplay video, after the jump.

The new version will add eight new fighters and balance the game’s existing characters for a better online experience. However, due to the amount of changes, the game will not support matchmaking with owners of the original version. The game’s producer, Yoshinori Ono, told Gamespot that due to the way the original game was coded, the extra characters and balancing issues could not be addressed through DLC, prompting their decision to move ahead with a new retail version of the game. Thankfully, Super Street Fighter IV won’t retail at full price. Players who bought the original will get a special treat if they purchase Super, so don’t get rid of your copies just yet.
