This past Sunday night saw the return of Jack Bauer, as 24 kicked off its eighth season with a bang (or explosion, as a helicopter got blowed up real good!). And while Jack may have been looking forward to his new position in life as “grandpa”, You know he can’t get what he wants that easily. Now Jack has to save the President of some non-descript Middle Eastern country (much like last year’s fictonal country of Sengala), and he’s gonna be getting backup from former FBI agent Renee Walker. Jack took the naive idealist under his wing last season, and showed her how to do things the “Jack Bauer Way”. And if Monday nights episode is any indication, she’s graduated at the top of her class! It’s amazing how Wersching manages to make looking world-worn and detached so damn sexy. Even after seeing her saw off some guy’s hand, I couldn’t help but find her absolutely breathtaking!
