Freema Agyeman on Doctor Who

Posted by: Rich Watson on March 28, 2007 at 8:27 pm

I used to watch Doctor Who on a semi-regular basis when I was younger. Some obscure TV station here in the NYC area (might have been a Jersey or even a Connecticut station; don’t recall) would show Who episodes, and while I thought it was kinda… quaint, I guess, it never hooked me nearly as much as Star Trek. But I got a reason to be interested in it now, because the new season of Doctor Who on the BBC begins this weekend and the new “Who girl” is a sister.

Her name’s Freema Agyeman, and if this article is any indication, the British fans have taken to her rather quickly. (And wouldn’t you know it – she’s a Trekkie too.)

I also use to watch Doctor Who on channel 13 or 31 in NYC back in the early 80’s (My how time flies) To me it was okay at the time. Now this sister named Freema Agyeman is pure fire. She is very, very well built and acts very well. Thanks to the internet I have already seen the first three for the 2007 season. I was also a “Hitch Hiker” fan in the early 80’s as well.

She’s been fired for being “unsuitable” apparently

I think it’s rubbish that she’s been sacked. Because there were all sorts of rumours about Billie at first, and though they turned out to be true the second time around…I don’t think they’d be announcing it to the general public anyway.

They might wait until a while later…after the season finale, anyway.
