After my last woe-is-me post, I thought I’d switch into blatant self-promotion mode: I’ve got some new work debuting at The 15th Annual Small Press Expo (SPX) this Saturday, September 26, at the North Bethesda Marriott Convention Center in Bethesda, Maryland. I’m a Bronx boy, so I won’t be at the show–but the new issue of “Doctor Dremo’s Taphouse of Tall Tales and Short Stories”–subtitled “The Spoils of Crime”–will! The new Dremo book features the work of me and about a dozen other indie creators, including the first new Division 18 content to see print since 2007!

The Dremo’s Taphouse series is a genre-themed anthology, meaning each issue focuses on a specific genre. Previous issues have been “The Wonders of Science” and “The Horrors of War,” and the next issue up (sometime in early 2010) will be ”The Splendors of Romance.” You’ll be able to buy the Science, War, and Crime issues from the DC Conspiracy crew during SPX, as well as other works by the comic creator collective. You can even ask the DCC about how YOU can take part in future issues of the anthology.

And if you can’t make it to SPX, ask your local comic shop if they plan to carry the latest issue or order a copy online from Comixpress.com.
