Get ready for some cooler rides at Disney World, and possibly watered down comics at your local shop.
The NY Times reports that pending approval from board members of both companies and Marvel’s sharedholders, the Walt Disney Company will buy Marvel Entertainment for $4 billion, in a combination of about 60 percent cash and 40 percent stock.
Well, dear readers, what do you make of this news?

Are you freaking serious? Hasn’t Disney put people through enough with Jonas Brother and Miley Cyrus? If they buy out Marvel comics, it’s going to be the anti-smoking campaign all over again only a hundred times worse. Anyone able to imagine Wolverine without his ticked-off attitude? I sure can’t but you know Disney would do it. They’d have Wolverine walking around, cutting apples out of trees for little girls. Better yet, Deadpool not being crazy? You know Disney doesn’t do the insane thing and they’d do everything in their power to cut the thought bubble talking out of that too. It was bad enough we had to see them mess Deadpool up in X-Men origins but now they gotta ruin him on his home turf too…
