DC Pulls All-Star Batman #10

Posted by: Jon Haehnle on September 8, 2008 at 3:34 pm

Just got word DC has postponed the release of All-Star Batman & Robin #10 until further notice — assumedly so they can remove something they determined to be inappropriate. Given the, uh, taste level of the book thus far it makes you wonder what Miller did in this issue that DC thought it crossed the line…

UPDATE: Apparently the black censor bar used in this issue to cover up the cusswords and other inappropriate language was not black enough, and the naughty bits could be easily read in good lighting. Considering the sheer amount of censored words — like an average of one or two per word balloon — maybe they just ran out of black ink =x
