Paramount Pictures has unveiled the official website and new MySpace.com page for the DC Comics/Vertigo-based Stardust movie, driving up the interest in the title and its related products available from Diamond!

Directed by Matthew Vaughn (Layer Cake), Stardust is based on Neil Gaiman and Charles Vess’ fantasy novel and stars Charlie Cox and Claire Danes along with such popular performers as Robert DeNiro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Peter O’Toole, Ian McKellan, Sienna Miller and others. In the film, Tristan (Cox) sets out to retrieve a fallen star to win the heart of the most beautiful girl in the English village of Wall. His journey takes him to the forbidden lands beyond the walls of his village, where he soon finds that the star has transformed into girl named Yvaine (Danes), sending the young man on a grand adventure where he will face pirates, witches, ghosts and more in his quest to save the girl and earn her love.

The new official site, which can be found at www.StardustMovie.com, features interactive sections that allow users to navigate the City of Wall and the Kingdom of Stormhold, while meeting all of their interesting inhabitants. The site also comes complete with the “Crossing The Wall” game, which makes players and honorary Wall Guard, and task them with the defense of the wall against young men who might try to cross it.
