I actually found the book series through watching the TV series based on the books. The Dresden Files is an extremely well-written, expertly acted & directed series that came on the Sci-Fi Channel. Unfortunately, the series' largest demographic was in the 25-54 age group & Sci-Fi apparently determined that this demographic wasn't lucrative enough and as yet have not decided to renew the series.
