I read the novel "Crystal Rain" and it's a blast. The book takes place on the world of Naganda, which has been settled by a mixture of folks from the Caribbean and Mexico. The hero of the book is black man named John deBrun who has amnesia. I've exchanged e-mails with Tobias Allen a few times. He's really cool. Allen is biracial--his dad is black (mixed) and mom is white. Allen mentioned that he is dedicated to writing books targeted for black and multiracial male audiences.
