Microsoft has announced both the release date and Xbox Live Marketplace demo release for Crackdown. The single player and online coop demo will be available January 18th. This’ll give gamers just about a month to polish up their skills before the title hits retail on February 20th.

Crackdown is the open world game designed by David Jones, best known for creating Grand Theft Auto and Lemmings.
