“…I’d already donated a few times to Obama’s campaign directly and MoveOn.org, but had an urge to try to do something a little more widespread. I got inspired by some other artist-focused efforts, such as the Artists for Obama and MoveOn.org’s Manifest Hope auction, I thought, hmm, couldn’t we do a comics industry version of this?”
