What’s your theory? Terrance just go flake, hey pay me rather than just stick to some brand name building? Cheadle will bring some off-intensity to the role. Yes, I said it. War Machine requires a little leading man magic.

If it was indeed all about money, then Terrence Howard is an idiot. He’s no Will Smith yet; far from it. While I think he saw the Iron Man franchise as his ticket to the A-list, I also think he was a bit too eager to get his own spin-off movie and perhaps was blinded by the $$$. Pure speculation, of course.
Still, there’s no doubt he was a terrific Rhodey. I think Don Cheadle will be a different kind of Rhodey, which I can live with although it could be a potentially rough transition. Doesn’t bode well for IM2 overall, but hopefully Jon Favreau can work with it.

Wow, I’m embarrassed to admit that I’ve never heard of Black Lightning before this post… Thanks for the news on the upcoming series.
