The Harvey Award nominations have been announced, and the only one that’s on-topic here is Keith Knight’s The K Chronicles, up for Best Syndicated Strip or Panel.
Marguerite Abouet’s Aya is up for an award as well – it’s in the Graphic Novel category of the 2007 Quills Awards.
Black Enterprise profiles Michael Davis’ Guardian Line.
The Philadelphia Daily News loves Dwayne McDuffie’s Fantastic Four.
Speaking of which, Tim Story says he wants the Black Panther for FF3.
Here’s another article about the forthcoming Image GN Full Color.
The action-adventure mini-series Adrenaline has been dropped by Diamond due to low sales, but the publisher will continue to print it online – plus there’ll be a TPB down the road. It’s a shame – I liked the book – but maybe going this route will be better for them in the long run.

A lot of great stuff came out last week.
I give you props for mentioning Seekers from Guardian Line. I was curious about the series because of its novel premise of kids travelling through time via a magical MP3 player. What I got was an all ages adventure in the best sense of the word. Seekers isn’t sappy because the title characters face all too real issues: annoying big sisters, church cliques, and shady adults. This realism also makes the heroes’ time hopping all the more amazing and refreshingly fun. (I say “refreshingly” since we need a balance to the dark and serious comics.)
So, Seekers is definitely on my pull list. Thanks for making me aware of it.
