Alex Simmons’ Color of Comics exhibit at the Bronx Community College has opened this past Friday, but I haven’t been able to make it up there because of the schedule. Alex addressed this in an email he sent out today:

This is a general announcement to all the artists involved in the COC exhibition, though I know some of you live much to far away to visit our little endeavor. Currently, Eugene Adams (Dir. of Education Outreach for BCC) and myself are talking to the Bronx Community College Art Department to extend their regular gallery visiting hours. Like many institutions it is taking time to change their “norm.” So, for now the gallery hours are only:

Monday – Friday
10 AM to 2 PM

We are trying to add on two Saturdays, and one Tuesday evening. I’ll keep you posted of our progress. So, if you are in the New York area want to see the exhibit, please let me know. That’s all for now, but I will send out a report on reactions to the exhibit within the next four days.

As soon as I’m able to see the show, I’ll write about it here.

Publishers Weekly talks about Incognegro.

Are you ready for Tyler Perry’s Medea as an animated series?
