The Christmas crossover to end all Christmas crossovers, by two of the funniest men in comics, Kyle Baker and Paul Dini.

Also this week:
Bomb Queen II #3 (of 4). Story and art by Jimmie Robinson.
Genesis Five #1, Joe & Max #1, Code #1. The Guardian Line books debut – but all in the same week? Stupid!

Taye Diggs’ Day Break gets the axe, but the remaining eps will be available online. ABC put a tremendous amount of hype behind this show, hoping to capture some of the Lost crowd, but I guess it just didn’t take. Maybe Diggs better go back to making movies. (Thanks to Chris Chambers for the tip.)

Kerry Washington talks Fantastic Four 2.

The good news: a new Avengers mini-series is forthcoming that will include a new black superhero. The bad news – as pointed out by the Black Superhero forum members – is that this new hero’s chest logo is almost an exact ripoff of Gettosake Studios’ Chocolate Thunder character. I’ve emailed the Love Brothers for a comment; still trying to find an email for either writer Dan Slott or artist Stefano Caselli (or even Marvel EIC Joe Quesada). Stay tuned.
