And yet… I still find the Marvel work better than most. There were definitely some good indy comics published in 2007, but… if a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it…. and all that jazz.

I would find Marvel somewhat entertaining if they could dump the trailor trash Emma Frost.

I thought I would have come disagreement with the rankings but I pretty much agree. Marvel and DC usually sell a lot of volume but much of it is loyalty. I have taken a change a started buying more Indy Books and found the story and art to be more satisfying. If you can get beyond some of the scheduling and delays, you can be very much happy with a quality purchase.

The Whole Civil War/Initiative Storyline started well but was rushed. it petered out to a slow bubble. World War Hulk, had great promised and should have been delayed longer before throwing that into the Marvel Universe. That was a missed opportunity for a great year and now it just part of the whole chaos. Now you have this Skrull thing coming and as far as I’m concern, you still have not resolved the Civil War. I think that’s why Marvel scores are so low.

Best thing to happen to DC was the Senestro War. I was loving the series until they did that Crossover thing which all the other books are dealing with that 52 thing that still isn’t resolved. TOO MUCH Chaos. The JLA has promise but the core characters of DC are all over the place.

I am buying less books because of all of this MADNESS.

Darkhorse, IDW and Image are still kick A$$.

Write more to the publishers if you don’t like what you are reading. Its your money you are spending and believe it or not THEY DO LISTEN.
