Hello everybody, it’s The Mad Gamer here. First and foremost we’d like to thank PopCultureShock.com for having the balls to give us the opportunity to speak our minds, raw and uncut. By now you’re probably saying “what does that mean?” Simple. We’re f*cking sick and tired of all the bullsh*t going on with the gaming industry today and now we have the chance to let our voices be heard. Now you’re probably asking “Why is The Mad Gamer multiple persons?” Because we are numerous gamers with hundreds of collective years of gaming experience and we’ve seen the industry from it’s beginning up until now. We have played damn near everything that has ever been released, and for that reason we are self-proclaimed gaming experts with strong fact-based opinions. But enough of that. The purpose of The Mad Gamer is to speak out on we feel is wrong or just plain sucks about games, game developers, game publishers, game industry news, etc. Each column of The Mad Gamer will be written and submitted by a random Mad Gamer whenever the need to vent arises. And to PCS, you guys might want to strongly consider placing a disclaimer on our column for your own protection.

Now if you’re still reading that means we’ve peaked your interest. That also probably means that you’re a hardcore gamer who feels our pain. Make no mistakes about it; we will pull no punches here. Noone is safe from the wrath of The Mad Gamer. No, not even our kindhearted hosts here at PCS. We will rant, flame, roast, and sh*t on everything and anything at any given time with reasonable cause. To the gamers out there who will be reading The Mad Gamer columns, your comments are always welcome whether they be good or bad. Hell, you might even want to flame us for some of the stuff we say. To the big wheels in the gaming industry, you can either ignore us or take what we say as very strong constructive criticism. Your decision will tell gamers whether you care about making better products or just cashing in on half-assed developments (*cough* Electronic Arts *cough*). And yes, even you arrogant pricks out there who get paid to write game reviews aren’t safe. EGM, your day of reckoning is forthcoming! BWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA! So as you can see, we have our mission plan set out and ready for “go”. Stay tuned, true gamers!
