		<description>Hmm.... this is interesting. The kind of contradiction that Knight satirizes has been the media&#039;s favorite topic recently (take for instance: http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/1008/A_sign_in_Licking.html?showall). So I wonder if the issue is the use of the slur? or the slur being directed at Obama? or being used by an Obama supporter? I think this editorial strip effectively captures - through both shock and humor - a transformational moment in our politics and our society. Clearly, this country still has a long way to go when it comes to race relations. But the fact that it manages to be oddly disturbing and just a tiniest bit encouraging is part of why it works. 

As a side note: maybe this controversy will give Keith Knight some national attention!</description>
