CN denies Boondocks ban by BET

So says this report. No one from BET has made a statement on the situation as of yet, and frankly, their silence is becoming deafening.

At least they changed the title of the episode from ‘BET Suck.’
After hearing about that episode from one of the Boondocks Leads early last year, I was surprised to see Reggie Hudlin and Cowan credited as an Exec Producer this season. Perhaps they all came back together between the episodes being created and the season starting.
Neither Hudlin or Cowan were credited in Season One.

It was my understanding that there MAY have been some creative tension between Hudlin and McGruder during production on Season 1. IMO, given the latter’s constant attacks on BET in the BD strip, Hudlin must have known that sooner or later McGruder would go after BET in a BD episode. This is, of course, just idle speculation on my part.
