CLAMP Down

Apologies for the shameless self-promotion, folks, but I wanted to thank David Welsh for interviewing me at Comic World News. His latest Flipped! column (which appears on Mondays, BTW, and is always an excellent read) focuses on CLAMP. Or, more accurately, my idiosyncratic, OE take on CLAMP. I should warn über-nerds that my love of CLAMP does not extend to everything they’ve ever created, so if you’re nuts about Man of Many Faces or Magic Knight Rayearth you may be disappointed to discover that I don’t discuss them. But if you’re a big fan of some of their more mature series, or are looking for an introduction to their extensive body of work, then I encourage you to read the interview.
In an effort to represent the full spectrum of licensed manga in his Flipped! column, David is interested in chatting with other people about their favorite artists, genres, and titles, even if they fall well within the manga mainstream. Contact David through his blog Precocious Curmudgeon for further details.

Thanks for the link, and especially for the interview! It was a delight, as I expected it would be.
