When did Captain Marvel become the warden of 42 aka Fantasy Island?

in civil war: the return one shot. as far as i understand it marvel there to kill the sentry if he goes to the dark side. apparently he’s there marvel from the past not an alternate universe. so while waiting for the sentry to go nuts so he can kill him, go into the past again and die he decides to be a prisonwarden against the heroes, most who used to be friends. i mean, after all, he needs to make some cash to pay for his cancer treatment. all those years smoking finally caught up to vell. sarcasm aside this is the marvel version of hal jordan reborn. both characters i find very uninteresting and marvel has lost most its credibility with me. i suggest to anyone with taste to run away from this as fast as possible.

the warden angle is a lame attempt to capitalize on prisonbreak while not copying it outright. the more i look at these issues the more marvel/dc’s lack of originality/obviousness of shoehorned concepts becomes apparent. It’s a sad but true statement.

Thanks to Marvel, to quesada and the all House of M, for me is the best news, the return of the Captain Mar-vell, one of the best hero, thanks again for the posibility the back look again.
