Chris Benoit and Family Found Dead

WWE Superstar Chris Benoit was found dead this afternoon in his Fayattevile, GA home, along with his wife, Nancy, and seven year-old son, Daniel. According to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, police are currently investigating the deaths as a possible murder-suicide.
“Obviously, all sorts of speculation are running rampant but I have talked to so many people and nobody really knows [whether the couple was having marital troubles],” said Bryan Alvarez, who runs Figurefour Weekly, a wrestling newsletter and Web site, from Linwood, Washington.

WWE is reporting that it’s been ruled that it was in fact a double murder-suicide.

Not coming from a wrestling fan, but the timing of this is just bizarre in light of the Vince McMahon death stunt.

To WWE.
My family is saddened by Chris Benoit and his Wife and son’s death. My husband is a big fan of WWE wrestling sence the early 80’s. My family don’t think Benoit is a haneness monster. If there were drugs involved in Benoit’s behavior those three days then ya’ll need to step up ya’lls drug testing. You owe it to your fans cause you don’t want to loose anymore wrestlers to achohol or drugs. We believe that theres more to this story then substance abuse.

To WWE;
I’ve been a WWE wrestling fan since 1983. I don’t believe Chris Benoit was a monster unless there were drugs involved when he commited that haneness acts. I to went in a fit of rage back in Nov of 2005 drugs nor alcohol were not involved. So I know that you can go into rage without drugs or alcohol in your system. We’ll probably never know what made Benoit kill his family and himself we just call it a act of violence and pray for his living family members.

This tragedy makes you wonder about the other wrestlers in the WWE, and what they are capable of.
All for fame and fortune. It’s sad really. I’m still a fan and I still watch it. I just can’t help but wonder what’s going on in the WWE.
