“I really wouldn’t want to give too much away, but basically the story is about taking Cloak & Dagger to — in my opinion — the natural next step in their long and often complicated relationship. And the character of Tyrone was one that I especially wanted to develop — to bring him out of his shell. I think he has earned the right for us to get to know him better, and for him to get to know himself better.”
Other Comic-Con International news:
- Here’s a report on the Ben 10 panel which included Dwayne McDuffie.
- From the Wildstorm panel, via CBR, editor Ben Abernathy on the return of Stormwatch PHD: “Jackson King is back, he’s put together a new Stormwatch whose job is to save as many lives as possible. They reside on Skywatch 3, and have the ability to teleport down and kick butt. The approach with Wildcats and the post apocalyptic direction all comes from the outline Grant Morrison had, and will make sense when it comes to the completion of Jim and Grant’s ‘WIldcats.’”
- From the Ultimate Marvel panel: Jeph Loeb said the Ultimate Captain America Annual will include the origin of the Black Panther.
