The folks over at MTV are currently hosting a contest for Big Buck Hunter Pro. Now, before you start asking yourself why we’re talking about an arcade light gun game that has you shooting deer and other wild game, I have to admit something. I tried the game out about a month ago and I did have more fun than I expected to. Perhaps it was all the alcohol in my system. Maybe it was just the rush I got from lining up my shot and perfectly placing two slugs in an elk’s jugular during the half a second he was visible in between jaunting between trees.

Whatever the reason was, it was fun enough that when I got word that MTV is gonna give away one of these arcade units, it caught my attention. Head to the website and register and you could be part of a tournament that’ll have you win the arcade unit and end up on MTV Games. If you don’t win the contest, it’s ok, we’ll still love you anyway. Buck what everybody else thinks.
