Empire Online is reporting that a sequel to the video game adaptation of Bloodrayne (or as I like to call it, “One Of The Most Laughable Excuses for Filmmaking Ever!”) is currently in the works. The news is surprising, given that the original film took such a critical and commercial beating at the box office early this year. In any event, Uwe Boll is set to return as director, working from a screenplay by Christopher Donaldson and Neil Every, setting the story in the Wild West. Natassia Malthe (Elektra, DOA: Dead Or Alive) will step into the title role, originally played by Kristanna Loken.
