I don't know as many of the mainstream characters that were mentioned, but I think this idea is key: <i>Could the stereotypes about blacks--laziness, weakness, inferiority, etc.--affect how black supervillains are envisioned? </i> I always thought Alex from <i>Runaways</i> was a great villian, though.
