According to Denys Cowan at the Black Panel tonight, it’s set for eight episodes and will adapt Reggie Hudlin and JRjr’s Who Is The Black Panther?, with an eye toward using JRjr’s designs.
I’m trying to imagine animated JRjr and it just keeps coming up roses!

JRjr’s style, besides already being awesome beyond awesome in the comics, should be great to adapt to animation. Kind of like how the Warner Bros. DCAU stuff is.
I wish ‘em the best with this project and hope its something to be remembered, for all the right reasons.
Now I just need to check out that storyarc in the comics.
Hey, don’t knock it. It could be good - especially if they’re gonna try to approximate Romita Jr.’s art style. Just as long as Hudlin’s involvement is limited to producing and not writing…
