Silver Bullet Comics has a nice piece on black comics history, with interviews with Kevin Grevioux, Mike Sales, and others. Take a look.

Also: the podcasting website Afro Nerd will have a discussion on black comics tomorrow afternoon.

I teach photography to youth in Chicago. There was a black comics convention held here. I would like my students to do a comic strip for a project. I would like to hire a person with experience in this area to come and conduct a workshop for my students.
