Baker to take on Hawkman

Unusual choice to say the least. I’ve never had any interest in the character, but if Kyle Baker can make him exciting, then I’m all for it.

Rich,
I’m shocked that Baker is doing anything for DC after he complained about the publisher being rather clueless as well as obsessed with “grim and gritty” titles. Then again, Icon and the Shadow Cabinet are guest-starring in JLA.
This century is just full of surprises.

Man’s gotta pay the bills. If Dan Didio offered Hawkman to him, I’m sure Kyle must’ve felt he could do something with the character that hasn’t been done before (Zod knows Hawkman’s gone through enough changes throughout his history). Did you see the part about Kyle making his art more “fan friendly”?
