Wow, the Wasp was such a gosh-darned promiscuous slut back in the ’60s. She just wants to get down with all the founding members, right McDuffie? Right, know what I’m sayin?
Oh yeah, and the art’s crap too (square finger tips constitute Kirby-esque?). Painter indeed.
2 | Regicide
Janets always had a more active love life than the other members. She was also involved with two of the 4 male founding members of the Avengers featured here, so yeah. She’s flirty. maybe she just has a superhero fetish. That would probably be common in the 616 universe, since its a power thing. Maybe she’s only into other superheroes the way celebrities often like to date other celebrities.
I don’t think portraying her this way is somehow disrespectful. Everything is supposed to be a bit antiquated here.
I think the preview pages I’ve read so far are pretty damned funny. At least it isn’t as hokey as actual silver age comics were.
And great cover by Arthur Adams. slap that on a poster. it has just about every member ever except for Rage and Ares.

i think marvel should hire art adams for an avenger’s mini. that would really take the socks off of avengers fans. including mine.
