I’m sure everything will be explained…who knows, maybe its all a mind game that “Perfection” is playing on Kitty; using Kitty’s “first face of evil” as a tactic against her. I hope Joss doesn’t use that “doppleganger or clone” trick!

i second that, jinx. i think whoever it is, they are the new white queen, they just aren’t emma frost — that’s just them messing with kitty’s head

what if the emma weve seen all along has been really jean grey… maybe she became emma when she saw that scott needed to be more than he was. just maybe jean as emma could do more to help those around her if she wasnt constrained by being who they all thought she was. just an idea.

if the just mess with kates mind how is the real emma (phased by kate undergroud) gonna survive

i also hope the don’t use the clone doppleganger trick it has been used to much

who do you prefer emma or jean??

and who do you thing is a more powerfull telepath emma or rachel (my favorite).
and is rachel an omega level mutant like her mom jean or not, she has a phoenix emblem on her eye so id would make sense

last question jean and psylock switched powers remember. jean teke in exchanche for shadow teleporting and psylocks telepathy (not omega level)
now psylock is alive again and with jeans teke she should also be an omega because jean was and she has jeans powers ..it makes sense. And rachel on the otherhand also has a shadow form so she should be able to teleport true shadows right???

Man aren’t we kind of tired of this mess yet??!!!
I stopped buying Astonishing after the first six issues.
Same old, same old Phonix is dead than she isn’t, ProfessorX is either dead, depowered or can’t walk.
Pysclops is confused, Wolverine is tall one second than short another the stories take to long before getting to the action and the ending is such a fing let down.
Oh and the artwork…………

The fight scene between Kitty and Emma was completely illogical and inaccurate. Let me explain: Emma has a reputation for being one of the most intelligent X-Men around with an eye for strategy. That being said, her behavior in the fight was completely out of character and borderline ridiculous.

First off, why would Emma stand idly in front of Kitty’s hiding place, taunting her like an idiot when she’s fully aware of Kitty’s ability to phase through objects? Emma is smarter than that. Furthermore, if she did telepathically locate Kitty, again why stand there taunting her when she could tap into her mind and fry her alive?

Also, Emma lets Kitty get four solid hits before transforming to diamond form. Why on earth did it take her so long? Her transformation is instantaneous, though for some reason Emma allows herself to get hit multiple times before activating it. Again, not smart, not Emma.

Lastly, when she finally does activate diamond form and Kitty is injured from kicking her, the first thing she does is jump on top of her. Why?! Why would Emma try to physically hurt Kitty when she knows she’s incapable of being hurt physically? Why wouldn’t she just blast her with a mental bolt?

The answer: obviously, Perfection wanted her to get taken out by Kitty. It was part of the plan all along. Perfection later tells Emma, “Don’t worry, you did fine,” indicating her abysmal performance in their fight was part of the plan all along. So, in reality,

Emma pwns Kitty.
