i fucking hate the changes being made to this original story. i read it about two weeks ago and was blown away expecting it to be average despite never being dissapointed with millar. i would put it in the same league as watchmen story quality-wise and its half the length. i am pissed with the new story elements, characters and it apppears toning down of the stories darkness. however, they may just pull a constantine and make it better storywise. and i liked the hellblazer books and feel the comics constantine characterization appears in the dresden files. and i believe balthazar getty would be the perfect wesley gibson, with a blonde dye job of course. i could just picture him shooting the wings off those fucking flies. as for the cast, whose next? william shatner as the professor? jake gyllenhaal as wesleys half brother will? or maybe gary coleman as the doll master? fuck i’m probably guessing most of the movie.
