You know, I’ve watched this movie again since we originally bashed it on the old podcast, and I still don’t like this drivel. Nothing against Hugh Jackman and crew. It’s just that Bryan Singer was amazing, setting a tone and energy that I think is without equal in the Marvel movie franchise. I’m in the minority, though, because according to The Hollywood Reporter:

“…20th Century Fox Home Entertainment’s “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” was the week’s top home video seller for the second consecutive week, once again topping both Nielsen VideoScan’s overall First Alert sales chart and the Blu-ray Disc sales chart.”

So I’m going to suck up my distaste for the movie and just give props to Marvel. At least this paves the way for more Marvel movies, and possibly, a proper Ryan Reynolds Deadpool movie. This is, of course, AFTER he finishes Green Lantern.
