I just wanted to send you a little message and tell you how much I enjoyed your short film. While I not in the "industry", I am a serious consumer of good cinema. I thought the short was well cast and well done. I am sorry i was a day too late to vote for your project.

Also...I surprised myself by being so attracted to James Kyson Lee as Akira. His voice is a cool baritone and he has a real attractive "way" about him. The heat between him and the leading actress is palpable. I must admit I replayed the last scene several times to hear him ask her, in that deep almost-whisper, "You hungry?" LOL!

I am a Black woman who has dated mostly Black men (with some Latinos, a few white guys and one Indian man thrown in the mix). I have never had occasion to seriously date an Asian man. However I have a girlfriend who is dating a Korean man and she "hipped" me to the fact there exists this entire sub-universe of Black Woman Asian Man websites, blogs, meet-ups etc. I was intrigued as I always am about people and the things humans do. So I "googled" it myself and stumbled upon your gem of a film.

I just wanted to encourage and congratulate you andtell you that your film has created new considerations for me. And I suppose that's really something significant for 22 minutes!

I look forward to the Feature Length film!
