Hollywood Black Film Festival

Myself, producer Joseph Shim and our lovely leading lady Emayatzy Corinealdi attended the HBFF screening. The Writers Guild theater was a nice venue with good picture and sound. One of the other shorts in the “Reel Black Men” line up was the crime drama “Vile” by a talented young brother named J. David Shanks. JDS and I attended film school together and this was the second time our shorts graced the same screen.

The turn out wasn’t so great. We were up against the first game of the NBA Finals in a town (and industry) where Laker gold runs deep.

I’m looking forward to going to New York City this weekend and our screening in Brooklyn Saturday night!
