How can I see the movie?

How long is the short?

The short film is 37 minutes long with credits.

Is that the guy who plays Ando in NBC’s hit series “HEROES”?

Yes, that’s James Kyson Lee who plays Ando Masahashi. James was also responsible for the casting of Emayatzy Corinealdi (Daphne), convincing writer/director Joe Doughrity to audition her after he’d seen over 40 actresses.

James grew up back East and was even a member of a rap group in college.

What are your future plans for the movie?

Our goal is to turn “Akira” into a feature length film. It would be similar in spirit to the short, but expand on the concept and theme. The feature script is completed and in active development with name talent attached.

Where can I buy a copy?

The short film is currently not for sale. Once our film festival run is complete we have plans to release it either on DVD or make it available for download.
