Yes, that is Ando in your Hotmail

Back a couple of weeks ago before Hotmail totally went to the dogs (I absolutely detest their new “Windows” interface) I used to stumble on this picture of this Asian guy with glasses when I’d logged out. I thought dang….that looks like James! But naw, no way. Well, yes way. A couple of weeks ago they started running new banners with offers and help buttons featuring our own Akira Kubota! And this time he was devoid of the specs so there was no denying it.

It’s funny seeing James so often. And then this past weekend NBC’s been playing ad for the final 5 episodes of HEROES which starts next Monday April 23rd. I don’t know how much of James we’ll see, but of course it’s been confirmed he’s coming back next season. Emayatzy got cast in the traveling edition of THE BACHLORETTE PARTY which Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment is producing so I’m so excited for her. My cast is blowin’ up!

With Scott back from Japan (and with a new addition to his family no less, his baby daughter Akiko) we met last week and watched the final cut together. A lot of note taking and ideas flowing. The mix is set for Tuesday at 2pm and I’m excited. We will be done by Wednesday night. Then a bit of color correcting and we’re ready to screen this bad boy. The poster is coming along nicely too. I’ll be posting it up here very soon.

In the meantime there’s mainstream media’s constant assault of Imus, Sanjiya and the Civil War that Isn’t in Iraq. Strange days indeed.
