Africa Comics discussion @ Columbia 2/21

 Tomorrow night, Columbia University will have a panel discussion of the Studio Museum in Harlem’s Africa Comics exhibit. Keith Knight, Calvin Reid, and Professor William Foster will be on hand.

I only wish I had actually seen the Africa Comics exhibit before going. In addition to those you’ve listed, South African cartoonist, Anton Kannemeyer, on the panel, talking about his satirical comics magazine BitterKomix. Exiled Cameroonian cartoonist/painter Issa Nyaphaga was also on hand, as he’s doing a residency at the Carlton Arms hotel right now. 3 | Rich Watson February 22nd, 2007 at 10:44 pm There was absolutely no way I could’ve made it to this show, I’m sorry to say. |
