I came in late to the panel (I was confused and almost went to the Studio Museum) but it was a fun time. I only wish I had actually seen the Africa Comics exhibit before going. In addition to those you’ve listed, South African cartoonist, Anton Kannemeyer, on the panel, talking about his satirical comics magazine BitterKomix. Exiled Cameroonian cartoonist/painter Issa Nyaphaga was also on hand, as he’s doing a residency at the Carlton Arms hotel right now.

There was absolutely no way I could’ve made it to this show, I’m sorry to say.
