Dan Goldman was the co-writer, along with his brother Steven, of the GN Everyman: Be the People, which chronicled the rise to power of a fictitious black president, so it’s nice to see him coming full circle with a project like this.

Also: In his recent mini-series from a few years ago, Beta Ray Bill adopted a human form, that of a black guy, so I think he can be considered a de facto black character now. Anyway, writer Kieron Gillen confirms a new BRB special coming soon.
